The Source

Through the French branded content agency The Source I developed these Disneyland Paris bumpers for social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) during 2020 – 2024.

The first one is for the reopening of the park after COVID lockdown. I had to add transitions between the video-clips. They wanted to have some geometric shapes, so I thought I could make a deconstructed Mickey Mouse and use his characteristic shapes and colours.

The second is to promote that you can travel through the whole park in a day, and they wanted to add some doodles into the video. I thought about having a line coming out from Mickey’s wand, and that line would guide us throughout the park, drawing the doodles in each land.

The third one is to promote the Halloween season. They wanted to have an ancient book in which we see photos of “villains” and stuff to sell. Also, it had to match the aesthetics of the other videos for the promo campaign, so that’s the reason for the oscillating movement of the camera, as their claim for the campaign is: “Get good at being bad with a twist”.
